What a fucking douche bag! How can one person be such an asshole to someone they just met? As much as I adore Bridget, her brother is another story. As fate would have it though, I find myself falling for him every time we are together. Of course, I do have a history of being with assholes. The question is, can I handle another one? What secrets does he have that I can see in his eyes?

3.5 starsThis was not what I was expecting at all. I didn't realize it was a paranormal for one.
Well I really enjoyed the bones of the story, there were some editing issues- an example was going into the hospital and getting soaked but when leaving eyes had to be squinted shut due to the bright sunlight.
I don't mind insta love/attraction and although it was implied, I just didn't feel it between these two. I would have liked to have seen more of the relationship. I did enjoy the "channeling" aspect of the story.
Overall not a bad read and I will probably read more of the series

I wanted to like this book but in the end, I had a hard time finishing it. The basic storyline and characters have promise and are intriguing. However, this story is desperate for some quality editing and further shaping to elevate it to the next level. The liberal and somewhat random use of profanity as a way to give these characters an 'edge' was obnoxious and assisted in the flow of the story feeling stilted. I also felt the insta-romance between Trigger and Eve lacked authenticity which made me sad because the two of them have SO.MUCH.POTENTIAL that wasn't developed. ( I did enjoy the addition of female leadership into the Pack, that was a refreshing twist. I also enjoyed Malik's character as the voice of reason to Trigger's emotional thuggery. 2 stars for this one. I will read Book 2 mostly to find out about Malik.
It was a good read. It had interesting characters and a interesting story line. It did leave me with questions about Max. The plot could of been explained a little fuller and it seemed just a little rushed but it was still a good read.
This was just OK for me. I had a hard time connecting with this book.
Hot from the start. Great storyline. Love paranormal stories. Love, sadness and somewhat of a happy ending. Looking forward to the next book.

I am one of those people who, when I read a book I try to figure out where it goes before I finish the page. This was different than my normal paranormal reads and I am looking forward to the next one.
Omg,I love this book being's you in and doesn't let you go, and I like that the alpha is a woman. Totally enjoyed this book....
This was my first read by this author and I did enjoy the book. It was a fast paced suspenseful read with a paranormal MC twist. I liked the storyline and the characters were good. The romance mingled rather quickly, as the H and the h got caught up in the plot. I think for me I would have preferred a lengthier development of the romance - more of a build up, but that is just my preference and not a deterrent of the book. 3.5 stars
