A basic premise of injured policeman rescued by foreign/alien goddess and transported to another world/universe. Pretty solid story wise, but severally spelling/editing errors, such as passed instead of past and grinder instead of ground.One other bit that annoyed me was that 5% of the book was all about his other works. A list with a link would have been better rather than a synopsis of every book the author has written.

The magic is a little weak but enjoyable.The interplay between the magical and normal as a cultural heritage is good.
Great Series
First of a pretty good three book series--put it his way--I'm waiting for the third book to be available.
Good plot line, nice twists and solid characters. Not a YA book, which was nice. My only issues are that the book is too short, and once it gets going good, everything stops short. I will invest in book two (Tony and the Island's War) to compare and hopefully the build up continues.
Fun book. MC runs a fine line of being OP, but doesn't really cross the line into Gary Sue territory. Although rarely in personal danger, he has a ton of internal conflict which provides the balance for his character.
My biggest complaint is how much time is spent in the main characters head as he whines his new life away. Being it's from Tony's point of view your stuck with that too and it hurts the story for me. Other then that I do really enjoy the plot line. As a warning if your like me you will be yelling at Tony to shut up and get on with the story at times so be expecting that.
The idea of the story is great though it's one he uses a lot but he changes it enough your not getting the same old story. I enjoy the play between the girls and Tony once he forgives them and the elf is a nice twist too. It gets so much better on the other 2 books so you have to look forward too as well.
An entertaining tale of a young police officer given a second chance at life on a new world where magic is real. He must learn to use his own powerful magical abilities to first survive and then to make a difference in the conflict he finds himself in. It is an easy read but not for children as there is some fairly graphic sex. Somewhat short with a few typos of the "your " vs "you're" type mostly.
